Plenty of patents are held in the shipping industry, and two interesting new patents have been revealed recently. One patent is from Walmart and involves teaming autonomous vehicles with drones in order to increase efficiency, particularly when facing obstacles like a damaged road or a locked gate outside of a delivery address.
